British racing driver Lewis Hamilton is heartbroken over the death of his 12-year-old bulldog, Roscoe, who passed away on September 28, 2025, after four days on life support due to pneumonia.

In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Hamilton wrote: “After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe… I feel so grateful and honoured to have shared my life with such a beautiful soul, an angel and true friend.”

Roscoe, adopted in 2013 during Hamilton’s first Mercedes season, had 1.3 million Instagram followers. Over 3,000 fans and friends have sent condolence messages to the Formula 1 star.
