Popular skit maker Pastor Remote stole the spotlight once again after his lively encounter with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during the Chaos in the Ring boxing event at Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday night.

Known for his energetic “prayer warrior” persona, the comedian shook hands with the Governor and boldly declared, “Anyone I pray for must see it come to pass. You will become the President of the United States of America.”

Governor Sanwo-Olu responded with humor, saying, “The prayer you offered at the Emirates is already manifesting,” which drew laughter and cheers from the audience.

Not stopping there, Pastor Remote turned to the crowd, shouting, “Somebody celebrate grace, what is happening here?” before teasingly urging the Governor to repeat the statement. The light-hearted exchange became one of the evening’s most talked-about highlights, mixing comedy with the thrill of international boxing.

The fight night itself delivered high-octane action. American cruiserweight Brandon Glanton stopped Olympic medalist Marcus Browne in the sixth round, while Nigerian-born British boxer Dan Azeez thrilled fans with a TKO victory over Sulaimon Adeosun in his homecoming bout.

Other winners included Emanuel Odiase, Yusuf Adeniji, Taiwo Agbaje, Elvis Ahorgah, Ruben Torres, Jursly Vargas, and Osman Aslam, each adding excitement to a night packed with action.

The star-studded event also welcomed top dignitaries such as Finance Minister Wale Edun, Minister of State Doris Uzoka-Anite, NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko, veteran journalist Dele Momodu, and football legend Victor Ikpeba. To cap it all off, music icons D’banj and Naira Marley delivered electrifying performances that lit up the arena.
