- Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a Plateau State cleric and COCIN regional chairman, has warned former presidential aide Reno Omokri that he will face divine judgment for denying what Dachomo calls a genocide of Christians in the state.
- In a Facebook video, Dachomo said he has photographic evidence of killings including children and accused Omokri of “spitting on the graves of innocent victims.”
- He vowed that Omokri will “never know peace” unless he repents, and announced plans to hold a press conference to present his evidence.
Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a prominent cleric from Plateau State, has warned former presidential aide Reno Omokri of divine judgment for allegedly denying the ongoing killing of Christians in the region.
Omokri has repeatedly dismissed reports of Christian genocide, even inviting international observers to verify his claims. His earlier tweet downplaying a massacre in Plateau State sparked outrage before he deleted it.
In a video shared on Facebook, Rev. Dachomo, who leads the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, accused Omokri of “spitting on the graves of innocent victims” and vowed he would face God’s wrath if he fails to repent, insisting he has evidence of widespread killings.
“There is genocide and I have evidence to prove this. I have pictures of innocent people killed, including little children. Very soon, I will hold a press conference to talk about this.
“I will present that his small children are among those killed. I will present the recent killings that the Nigerian government does not want the world to know.
“They are saying that I’m opposing my own government by exposing them. Are they not exposing us to Fulani terrorists by refusing to come to our aid when we cry out? They are exposing us. They are exposing us; let them continue killing us. Then they turn their faces as if nothing is happening.
“Then there is that man called Reno Omokri, who came out and said there is no genocide in Nigeria. That man I have cursed already. He will never know peace down to his grave.
“The blood of the people that has entered my brain, I have transferred them into his life. He will not escape.
“I want all Nigerians to know the man will never escape. He has been living a dubious life with different governments, but this time around, he has crossed the line.
“If I exist without seeing God crush that man, then I’m a bastard, because the blood of the people that have been killed in the north, for him coming out to deny it—he has crossed the line. He is finished.
“The only hope for him that will buy my heart is for him to repent. Let him repent. If Reno Omokri will repent, and those kinds of Christians that came out and say there’s no genocide, if they don’t repent, they will all face the wrath of God.”
