Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alleging that the president seems unaware of Nigeria’s worsening insecurity unless it involves issues of land acquisition, foreign loans, or political maneuvering.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sowore claimed Tinubu is detached from the daily struggles Nigerians face, accusing him of focusing only on matters where he can allegedly “grab land, take loans, and steal.”

According to Sowore, “Tinubu appears not to even know what’s going on in Nigeria, except where there is land to grab, loans to obtain and steal, and using Nyesom Wike to cause confusion in preparation for his failed and dead 2027 ambition. At this point, #TinubuMustGo.”

He further alleged that the president is using the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to stir up political disorder as part of what he described as a doomed plan ahead of the 2027 elections.

Sowore’s comments reflect growing public frustration over rising insecurity, economic hardship, and accusations of corruption under the current government. His renewed call for Tinubu’s resignation underscores the increasingly tense political atmosphere, with discussions about the 2027 elections already intensifying.
