Popular Nigerian activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has paid a visit to the elderly woman who was seen struggling to flee during the recent church attack in Kwara State.

The attack occurred on Tuesday, November 18, when bandits stormed the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku town, Ekiti Local Government Area, killing three worshippers and abducting several others, including the pastor.

A live video of the chaotic scene showed church members scrambling for safety, including an elderly woman striving to run into hiding during the gunfire.

Many Nigerians felt compassion for the elderly woman after watching the footage. Harrison Gwamnishu subsequently tracked her down and shared a video of his visit online, bringing attention to the survivors of the violent incident.

In other news…. Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of politician Ned Nwoko, shared new photos of herself and her husband with a loving caption, which subsequently drew critics who trolled her with past online claims made by her junior wife, Regina Daniels.

The photos showed Laila and Ned holding hands and looking affectionately at each other, which Laila captioned:

“With my lovely husband,”

In the comment section, some Nigerians referenced past claims made by Regina Daniels during a dispute with Ned Nwoko.

When one user commented, “Awww you have been missing this for long, if only he loves you from his heart we pray he doesn’t marry another young girl to console himself or maybe he will manage you,” Laila responded by showing acceptance of polygamy:

“I will welcome the new wife. I am here for him.”

Another Instagram user asked, “Una don buy viagra for the weekend?” referencing Regina Daniels’ alleged claim that Ned uses Viagra for intimacy. Laila immediately denied this:

“That’s lies, don’t believe anything on social media.”

Finally, when a follower suggested the photos didn’t tell the entire story and that Laila was “alone,” she replied, swearing that she and her husband are together every day.

“I am living my life. Keep looking at me,” Laila then told her critics in a new post.
