The wife of former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Leo DaSilva, Mariam, has made a jest of Nigerian legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, over reports of marital crisis with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.
Naija News reports that 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, on Monday confirmed that the trending video showing 2Baba’s arrest in London after an altercation with Natasha is authentic.
The confirmation contradicts 2Baba’s initial denial of the incident, which occurred in October 2025.
Speaking on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session on Monday evening, Igbokwe, who was part of the London tour team and on the same flight as the couple, stated that “everything you had the couple’s face-off was true.”
Igbokwe recounted how the argument unfolded at London’s Gatwick Airport, stating that Natasha Osawaru, who is also an Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, became upset when she felt 2Baba abandoned her after they landed, strolling away with fans who ushered him into a shop.
He said when the “African Queen” crooner realised his wife was left behind, he hurriedly ran back to her.
However, Igbokwe claimed that Natasha lashed out at 2baba, leading to the involvement of the police, who subsequently arrested and handcuffed the singer.
Reacting to the revelations, Mariam addressed 2Baba as a mumu and asked that no one should feel pity for him.
She wrote, “This 2face situation is hilarious, he left his wife to enter a toxic relationship at his big age? Mumu”.
“Nobody should pity him.”
