Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has been named Best Coach at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The 55-year-old Spaniard won the Johan Cruyff Trophy, succeeding former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti. He finished ahead of Arne Slot, Enzo Maresca, Hansi Flick, and Antonio Conte.
Enrique guided PSG to their first UEFA Champions League title last season, alongside the Ligue 1 crown and other domestic trophies. The award recognises his role in reshaping the French side after the departures of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé.
It is the latest recognition for Enrique since joining PSG in July 2023. His tenure has been marked by a possession-based style and integration of younger players into the squad.
The Ballon d’Or awards, organised by France Football, honour the best performers in world football, including players, coaches, and young talents.
