A Nigerian woman, Silas Tamwasana, has shared her belief that long-term relationships can succeed when both partners are intentional and committed.
Tamwasana, who is set to wed her fiancé, Francis, on November 30, 2025, revealed that their love story began in 2016 while she was recovering from the loss of a close friend.
She said it took her about a year to fully open up to the relationship, adding that Francis introduced her to his parents just two days before proposing.’
“I met Francis Lureino in 2016, and I was apprehensive about entering into a new relationship due to the paìn of losing a friend. My dear friend Aso Johnson advised me to take a chance, suggesting that I needed someone to help alleviate that paìn. Although I was not entirely committed at first, I eventually decided to give it a try. It took me a whole year to fully invest in the relationship, which was in 2017. Here we are today in 2025, and I can attest that long-term relationships can be successful, but they require a clear definition. Do not be misled. Celebrate with us on the 30th of November 2025,” she wrote.

In other news….The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially confirmed the arrest and arraignment of Samuel Ojeogwu, widely known as Sammy West, the elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
The confirmation comes after days of public speculation, social media appeals, and heated discussions within the Daniels family over his detention.
In a statement issued on Friday, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, explained that the arrest was prompted by a petition filed against Sammy and three others.
According to Adeh, the petition contained allegations of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
She further disclosed that Sammy was invited several times to report to the police for questioning but failed to honor the invitations.
The statement read in part:
“Upon receiving the petition, multiple invitations were sent to Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu, which he failed to honor. Consequently, the police obtained a valid court warrant for his arrest.”
Following the warrant, officers apprehended Sammy in Lagos and transferred him to Abuja for investigation.
After the investigative process was concluded, he was arraigned in court on November 6, 2025.
The court ordered that he remain in custody until he meets his bail conditions, which are yet to be fulfilled.
This latest development unfolds amid rising tensions between Regina Daniels’ family and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who has been accused by the actress of orchestrating her brother’s arrest.
