Popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has publicly criticized General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu over Nigeria’s escalating insecurity and his approach to handling Boko Haram insurgents.

This comes after Abdulmalik Bulama recently made headlines by calling for repentance and rehabilitation of Boko Haram members, encouraging them to lay down their arms and reintegrate into communities.

VeryDarkManYou’re a General, not a pastor” – VeryDarkMan slams Abdulmalik Bulama over Boko haram repentance call

Reacting sharply, VeryDarkMan accused the general of being too soft in dealing with criminals, insisting that someone in his position must take a firmer stance. He said:

“Dear General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, you are a general, not a pastor. I can see why these terrorists keep increasing because men like you, who have the power and tools to go after them, are sympathizing with them. You should resign because you are a weak general, unable to use your office. This is a shame.”

The video of his statement quickly went viral, sparking intense debates online, with many Nigerians supporting the activist for what they see as weak leadership.

VeryDarkMan’s public callout highlights the frustration among Nigerians over rising insecurity and the perceived inaction of military leaders.

The criticism comes amid growing public cry over persistent attacks and insecurity across several regions of the country, emphasizing the urgent need for effective strategies and accountability to tackle the nation’s security challenges.
