Fans were deeply concerned after a video of Twitter influencer Aunty Esther surfaced, showing her writhing in pain on her bed while fighting breast cancer.
In the footage, she appealed for help, tearfully expressing that she didn’t want to die, and revealed the part of her chest affected by the illness.
Many followers reacted with sympathy, asking how they could contribute financially to support her treatment.
In response, a man known as Oju tweeted that since Aunty Esther is married, her husband’s consent would be necessary before anyone could offer assistance. He questioned whether she was ready for that step and suggested that arranging an appointment at a reputable cancer center to see a specialist would be the proper next move.
Oju emphasized that several matters needed to be clarified before discussing monetary support.
Meanwhile, a woman identified as Aunty Muse shared her experience of trying to help Aunty Esther. According to her, she had given funds for medical care, but Aunty Esther opted for natural remedies instead. Aunty Muse added that they had planned to visit a doctor together, but Aunty Esther never showed up, leaving her waiting in the rain at Oshodi.
This comes amid past cases where entertainers like Tom Njeamanze have battled cancer, while others have faced chronic illnesses such as Lupus.

@drogbag1:”Someone close to me had exactly this. She started sleeping inside her cele church expecting miracle. The head pastor came one day and asked her what exactly was the problem and she said breast cancer. He bundled her to the hospital immediately. She lost her life 2 weeks after.”
@Msmenalicious:”Wow this is so bad o. I thought some persons offered to help her then. “
@NutinIsWorking:”Is she in the hospital/on admission already? If not, then money(for people saying drop acct) is not the first thing (considering what happened at first). Let her get to the hospital, get bills of things (tests, procedures) she needs to do to be okay and come back to seek.”
