Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has responded to a social media user who left an unpleasant comment on her Instagram page.
Naija News reports that the incident happened days after the actress threw a jab at an unnamed person while asking if the person’s movie could make a top-five list.
Shortly after that post, a troll went to her comment section and mocked her with a remark that translated to “mother of one child.”
Toriola, known for standing up for herself, reacted with a long message on her page.
She questioned why he woke up to attack her and told her followers to visit his page and reply to him.
She also said the fame he was chasing would bring him stress and would not give him peace.
She wrote: “Unclez. I dont know you, you woke up and typed “OLOMO KAN” on my page. I don’t understand what you mean, but I want my followers to bless you with a curse. Onigba omo, e ma sesin ni. Amin. You still dey bully Olomo kan abi, eni jeere. Amin. That stardom, you will get, but it will cause u trouble and will not give you rest. covenant_home”.
Wumi Toriola got married in 2018.
She and her then-husband welcomed their first child, a son named Zion Toriola.
However, in January 2023 she announced that her marriage had ended.
Despite the separation, Wumi has said that she and her ex-husband co-parent well and that she hopes to have more children.
